I bought a refurb dyson v6 cordless vacuum and fell in love with the brand. I recently bought a refurb animal 2 and am a little frustrated. We bought new premium karastan smartstrand silk carpet and love it but the vacuum would not go throug. Some of the newer dyson vacuums have a height adjustment feature where you can move the head of the vacuum up or down depending on what surface you re vacuuming on so you can lower it for hardwood keep it medium for medium carpets or raise it high for high pile carpets.
