King of color miles redd went all out in this manhattan foyer mixing bold tones and a black and white floor.

The wife is super stylish and she wanted it to feel like an opium den where yves. The winding wainscoted staircase adorned with an elegant paisley patterned runner. There are surprises at every turn in this entryway that ties together the open floor plan of a connecticut abode. I wanted to create a sense of entry so we flipped the room and added a console turned the stairwell landing into a teeny tiny foyer and relocated anything that has to do with their personal stuff to the back door.

Voila a foyer in an open floor plan. This matches well with the light gray walls making the door and the matching dark wooden windows stand out. Pave the floors with small brock shaped tiles. This is a simple foyer with a couple of greek style columns guarding the entryway for a dramatic effect that is augmented by the patterned accents on the light gray marble flooring.
